It was a really interesting game that sat on my “must get” list for ages, but I never did go and buy it. Now that it’scoming to DSiWareand I still have complimentary points to burn, it’s certainly tempting. Of course, there’s always a catch....
If you’re anything like me, the holiday season can wear you down. All of the shopping is absolutely exhausting (unless you’re smart and do it online, which I am not) and all the while you are being bombarded by the same Christmas carols over and over again. They’re great songs, but even “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” (the greatest carol ever) can get tired after two months. That’s why I’m so excited about this story....

With the countdown until March 24 growing ever smaller, Bethesda is switching it up a bit and giving us gameplay footage of the nextFallout 3downloadable content pack,The Pitt. The first trailer made its debut on the latest episode of GameTrailers TV, which you canwatch online here, but we have also got it embedded after the break in all of its orange glory. Destructoid reader “Able To Think” tipped me off to this rather cool freebie,Spark It Up. It’s a rhythm game of sorts that takes visual cues fromBoom Boom RocketandLumines, but features from pretty original gameplay. A dragon constantly flies from left to right, freezing rockets in mid-air as he does. The player detonates rockets by tapping or swiping them and has to do so before the dragon passes a second time. Tapping rockets of the same color earns bonus points, as does tapping on the various dragon shapes that appear on-screen....
There’s no shortage of Free-to-play shooters scattered across the interwebs, that’s for sure. However, Online Warmongers Group Inc. (longest studio name ever?) is attempting to throw one more in the ring with their upcoming free-to-play TPSWar Inc. Battlezone,now in open beta. Featuring up to 64-players online,War Inc.aims to raise the bar for F2P games with every intentin of delivering “a premium online game experience in a F2P package.” A big focus inWar Inc....

This morning during the 2011 Game Developers Conference keynote speech, Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime announced that Netflix would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS this summer. While the details of the software haven’t been revealed, it’s expected it will work similarly to other mobile Netflix software.
