Hands all over is more like it, actually.Alien Hominidfans (of which I am certainly one of the biggest) have been clawing away at the intertubes for months in search of any snippet of info they can find regardingThe Behemoth‘s latest XBLA project. Blurbs, screenshots, maybe a few seconds of video, anything that can serve as another appetizer to temporarily shush the rumbling in our bellies is a welcome treat. Imagine my delight, then, when I arrived at this year’s Penny Arcade Expo and saw the wide grin on my friendMiguel‘s face as he walked toward me and said the words: “Playable demo”....

Mike Newell, best known for theHarry Potterseries andFour Weddings and a Funeral, doesn’t like videogames. He can’t play them, he thinks they’re vapid, and talking about them “bores the arse” off him. Didn’t stop him from making aPrince of Persiamovie, of course. “I’m entirely incompetent at playing videogames,” admits Newell. “In thePrince Of Persiagame, you have to run across walls — I could never get more than three feet without falling into the revolving knives....

NaturalMotion’sBackbreakerisn’t only special because it’s the first sports videogame ever to use the Euphoria engine. Its simplified, pick-up-and-play control scheme is also notable, and in the tutorial above, you can learn how its passing — controlled solely by the right analog stick — works. The demo allows you to pick from six teams in the San Francisco stadium, and just in case the tutorial videos didn’t give you a good enough idea of how the game plays, there’s an extensive training camp in the demo....

What’s this? Double Fine getting its hands onPsychoanutsagain? Better alert the Internet. The beloved game has beenupdated on Steam, and is now a Steam Play title (buy one version, get both) to coincide with the new Mac release, which is also available on theMac App Store. The update adds cloud saving (hooray!), achievements, and scales back the difficulty of the Meat Circus. As for the iOS app, it’sa free downloadwhich offers the Memory Vaults fromPsychonautsand audio commentary fromTim Schafer and Scott Campbell....

Having already revealedDragon’s Lairfor DSiWare, it seems that Germany’s USK rating board isat it again. This time, the board has let the world know that Ubisoft’s limbless mascot, Rayman, is making his way to the Nintendo handheld’s downloadable service. Nothing has been revealed about the title so far, outside of the rather genericRayman DSiWarename, which we can safely assume is a placeholder. Whether or not Rayman’s spotlight usurpers, the Rabbids, are involved is anybody’s guess, but I hope very much that it’s a platforming game in the same spirit as the original, pre-RabbidRaymanfranchise....

That’s not to say this will be the case with whatever it is you kids are so excited about this week, but it sure is funny to talk about the hype that surounded some of the stuff that came out when we were younger....

Anyone know what’s going on with the U.S. version of that showThe Voice? I ask this because my wife and I saw a few episodes, and while we mostly were disappointed by the talent, we had a good time talking about Cee Lo Green’s arms. You see, they’re short, like a dinosaur’s or something. I mention this Maroon 5’s Adam Levine was a judge on the show, alongside Cee-Rex, and there are some Maroon 5 tracks coming toRock Bandnext week....

According to the rumor mill, Nintendo is in “turmoil” over what to do with the 3DS, and is planning something even more radical than the controversialprice cut— a complete physical overhaul. Gossip suggests that a future peripheral for the 3DS will add a second circular control pad. Allegedly, Nintendo regrets having just one circular pad, a decision that came as a result of rushing the hardware to beat Sony’s PlayStation Vita....

Hulu has made my life tons easier since I’m not the type of person to rush home when my favorite show comes on (or for that matter, watch shows made in America). So what if you could watch shows on it via your 360? IfOlivia Munn’s Twitteris to be believed, you may be able to do that very soon, as she recently tweeted “Just finished promos for hulu/microsoft event I’m doing on june 8!...

Last month, Bethesda held an event at the Palms in Las Vegas to show off a line-up of its upcoming titles. Among then was to be Splash Damage’s first-person shooter,Brink. I had hoped that this would be the first time we’d get our hands on the title or, at the very least, see something new. But it wasn’t there. Travel restrictions due to Iceland volcanic ash prevented the United Kingdom-based developer from traveling to the United States....
