Microsoft has just announced VideoKinect, a video chat service to be included as part of Microsoft’s new motion initiative. Boasting a headset-less chat system like Wii Speak, and video conferencing like Skype. Isn’t that cool? To be fair it does a few neat things, like watching videos together, a camera that follows you as you talk and move, and NEATO Gamerscore comparisons. Microsoft proudly boasts it has “no headsets, no controllers” and makes your voice chatting more fun and intuitive than ever before....
Bohemia Interactive’sCarrier Command: Gaea Missionpromises land battles, air control and nukes from sea in their strategy reimagining of the originalCarrier Command. Besides a story mode that sees you taking over 33 islands in some archipelago, there will be a Free Roam strategy (skirmish) mode based on the original 80’s classic where you can set he parameters and duke it out with an enemy carrier. The gameplay looks like it revolves around taking control of vehicles yourself, controlling them from an RTS perspective, acquiring and manufacturing upgrades and weapons, and keeping an eye on ammo and fuel stocks....

Sony has today pulleda shocking coup, using its clout as the owner of the originalGhostbustersmovie license to negotiate a cheeky last minute deal with Atari and turn the Ghostbusters game into a timed PlayStation exclusive. Wii and Xbox 360 owners will now have to wait even longer for the much delayed game, while PS2 and PS3 owners can get their hands on it in June. “We will be releasing the title on June 19th, for PS3 and PS2, to co-incide with the release of the Blu-ray movie from Sony Pictures,” said a Sony rep this morning....
Perhaps you PC gamers have heard a few Xbox 360 owners talk about this demo for some game calledBioShock. Word on the street is that it’s pretty good or something. But hey, don’t listen to me: I’m paid to say that thegame is awesome, right?
