As a loyal Sega kid I still have a place in my heart forNiGHTS. The Sega Saturn game had such an impact on me. And the music! I still love the music. I play the game’s vocal song, “Dreams, Dreams,” on the piano almost every day.

If you’re like me and really dig the music ofNiGHTS, you should definitely check out OverClocked Remix and their newest remix project, NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming. This, OC Remix’s 26th arrangement album, was created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the game. OverClocked ReMixer Stevo Bortz, a.k.a. Level 99, gathered 32 musicians to create the 25 tracks (and two bonus karaoke pieces) of this project.

Visitlucid.ocremix.orgto hear the love that Bortz and his team put into the collection. There’s some very good stuff in here. Oh, and it’s absolutely free. As a bonus, be sure to check out thefan-created artworkthat is supposed to accompany each song. What a great idea!

As a fellow OC Remixer I wish I could have contributed to this project. But I’m sure they didn’t need a cheesy pop cover of “Dreams, Dreams” anyway.
