I have to admit, I haven’t really been interested a Sega line up since … I don’t know, when did I get my Genesis? 1989?
But pretty much everything they’re bringing to New York Comic Con this week has piqued my interest. By way of theirofficial blog, Sega has confirmed that they’ll be bringingHouse of the Dead: Overkill,MadWorld,The Conduit, andSonic & The Black Knightto the Jacob Javitz Center this week. Best part? All of the games will be playable, and if you play all of them, Sega will give you a free t-shirt. You’ll want to change into that ASAP, by the way; walking around a comic book convention can get smelly.
Of course, there’s even more. Folks from Platinum Games, the guys who madeMadWorldwill be on hand signing stuff, as willThe Conduitdeveloper High Voltage. If you want to dress up like a character fromValkyria Chronicles, you’ll get a free art book. And if you know yourPhantasy Star Universetrivia, Sega will hook you up with some related goodies.
More info can be found over atSega’s blog. Guess what? I’ll be there, too. But Sega, don’t expect me to dress up like Alicia Melchiott fromValkyria Chronicles; it ain’t happening for a free art book. A nice lunch on the other hand …
