We come across some pretty strange consolemodshere on Destructoid. While it seems that most mods are purely a visual thing,some shoot for function or portability. I can only guess that was the goal with this latest find, a NES Purse.
For this mod to be of any value to you, you’d have to first be part of the purse carrying public. And you’d have to be a brave soul. If you are, A LCD screen and two velcroed-on NES controllers let you plunk down your purse for portable gaming action anywhere you are. A flip of the switch turns this accessory from game system to portable computer — Commodore 64 action is built-in. While it’s not finished, this purse is still not as elegant as it first sounds. In the video (below the jump) you’ll see that it’s just a bunch of circuit boards in a bag.
Call me crazy, but doesn’t a Nintendo DS or PSP fit in most purses?
