The North American DSi Shop sees its first third-party DSiWare this week and it’s…Real Soccer 2009(Gameloft, 1-4 players, 800 DSi Points). I had a chance to play the game at this year’s GDC, and despite the fact that I didn’t have Samit Sarkar behind me telling me where to kick the ball, it seemed like a decent soccer sim. It is “real,” after all.

WiiWare gets its obligatory “party” release this month withFamily Pirate Party(Aksys Games, 1-4 players, 500 Wii Points). It’s a party for two reasons: a) it’s a board game, and b) you can game with up to four players. Order the keg and hire a DJ for this one… it’s gonna’ get crazy.

Finally, if you’re in the mood for a little “pew pew pew” action,Galaxy Force II(Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)will be your jam this week. The arcade-style shooter has you shooting robots and alien ships across five areas like lush jungle planets or those made from fire or ice. Seriously, it wasn’t my intention to write a description for the most generic-sounding shooter ever; that’s just the way it is.
