All this 3DS news is great and all, and I’m totally excited aboutMega Man Legends 3Dand the newResident Evilstuff, but on my end, the biggest reveal from tonight’s Nintendo Conference was actually related to Nintendo’sothersystem.

This newly posted gallery of upcomingWii games on Nintendo of Japan’s official siteclearly names a newRhythm Tengoku(known asRhythm Heavenoutside of Japan) and a newFatal Framegame (which looks a lot like a remake or sequel toFatal Frame 2). It’s not to big of a shock to seeRhythm Heavengo to the Wii, seeing asRhythm Tengoku Goldsold so well in Japan. As forFatal Frame, I honestly didn’t see that coming, but I guess it’s not that weird.Fatal Frame 4on the Wii did go on to become the best selling game in the series, at least, for the one country that it was released for.

Nintendo of America will potentially pass on one, or even both, of these new games, just as the passed on the originalRhythm Tengokuon the GBA, andFatal Frame 4on the Wii. Thank God for kick ass fans like the guys who did theFatal Frametranslation patch, which requires absolutely no previous modding of you console. As always, dedicated Nintendo fans will to do what Nintend-wont.

Yeah, I went there, though not quite to the same extent that Sega did in the 90’s. Oh, and there are more screens in the gallery.Fatal Framelooks awesome!
