I just feel sad aboutPS3 commercials. I don’t want to ridicule them, discuss them with other journalists, contemplate why they aren’t great anymore or pen angry letters. I just want them to be good again. I just want to know why they are aiming at this portion of the human brain that is supposed to digest unrelated things, like why you would want to make a hammer out of peanut butter and tinfoil and what acrobats have to do with gaming.
The commercial is up atDigital Spy, should you want to watch it. The theme of the commercial is to “introduce a cast of unusual characters which each exemplify the amazing theatre of entertainment available.” I’m just not feeling it. Sitting in front of my television and feeling chills over theFinal Fantasy VIIcommercialis what I’m looking for, not this. Also, the man with the lipstick scares me.
