Kingdom Hearts fans know how great the series music is. The soundtracks have been coming slow, but Square Enix plans to catch up with an upcoming release that puts four games’ soundtracks in one collection.
There’s three CDs in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep & 358/2 Days Original Soundtrack, and on them you’ll find music fromRe:coded,Birth By Sleep,and358/2, as well as tracks from the newBirth By Sleep Final Mix. That’s catching up and then some!
There’s samples on thesoundtrack’s official site. For me, it only took a couple of seconds of listening to take me up from ‘want’ to ‘need.’ I need this collection. The site says that the soundtrack comes out in Japan on February 2, with the price set at $3,800 yen (about $40).
Regardless of whether you may keep up with the KH games, I still say that they all have some of the best game music ever recorded.
