The ESA confirmed today that NCSoft has officially left the organization, marking the seventh departure this year (Activision,Lucasartsand idSoftware were a few of the others to leave).
The reasoning behind this is more likely financial than personal — after the recent announcement that NCSoft would beshutting down the serversfor MMOTabula Rasain February, the company likely needs to cut corners. Still, it looks bad for the ESA, who are likelyrestructuring the format of E3again in hopes of counterbalancing this crisis.
While E3 has not officially been announced as open to the public, it has been disclosed that the show will be big again. If you could find a way in, would you be interested in going, or is all this ESA drama have you thinking twice?
