PC people can now make whatever level they desire inLeft 4 Dead. Last month Valve handed the keys and the tools over to its devout community. That update probably won’t become available for the Xbox 360 — Microsoft’s LIVE service isn’t built to handle such a thing. But frown not, Xbox 360 crowd: Valve is planning to release another round of downloadable content forLeft 4 Dead.
At a preview eventOfficial Xbox Magazineattended forLeft 4 Dead 2, Valve’s PR man confirmed new content is on its way. “The plan at the moment,” Lombardi said, “is to get at least one more update out before L4D2 comes out so we’ll be announcing more on that probably in a couple of weeks.”
Sadly, he didn’t think to apologize in advance for disgruntling the folks who believeValve has abandoned themby creating and announcing a brand new game as well as continuing to support the thing they thought wouldn’t be supported. Whoops.
