WithGuitar Hero World Tour‘srumored October releasedate quickly approaching, that can only mean one thing: we’ll soon be cleared of rumored songs for the high-anticipated game. But until Activision and Neversoft decided to come clean, here we go …
The latest issue of theOfficial Xbox Magazinehas revealed a handful of tracks, some of which had previously only been rumored. Songs include Dinosaur Jr’s “Feel the Pain,” Lost Prophets’ “Rooftops,” Nirvana’s “About a Girl,” and The Doors’ “Love Me Two Times.” The OXM article also reveals some in-game venues, including The House of Blues and Amoeba Records.
As a fan of plastic instrument rock games, my personal anticipation forWorld Tourand its competitorRock Band 2is at an all-time high. But does anyone else find that a lot of the song-overlap between the two games to be a bit curious? If both games have a comparable and strong setlist, what are the features that are going to truly set them apart?
The full list of songs revealed in theOXMarticle can be found after the jump.
