Firaxis Games is putting out two more add-ons forCivilization V: “Civilization and Scenario Pack: Denmark — The Vikings” and the “Explorers Map Pack.” As of May 3, they will be purchasable for $4.99 a piece, or for $7.49 if bundled together.
As the name implies, you’re getting the Denmark civilization. Plus, another scenario in 1066: Year of Viking Destiny, which sounds all kinds of hardcore. The press release also made mention of Ski Infantry being at your disposal. Curious, I did some Googling. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Eff yeah!
The “Explorers Map Pack” seems slightly less exciting; it’s ten Firaxis-developed maps for single-player. Five of the maps are real-world locations, and the rest are “scripted map environments.”
