Minecraft, the indie success and Destructoid staff obsession, is headed to Apple’s iOS devices.

Markus Persson, Swedish founder of the studio Mojang, says that versions are in the works for both iPad and iPhone. The regular updates to the browser/download version won’t necessarily be applied to the iOS game — only the features that “make sense” for a touch screen.
