Last night, Microsoft took over New York City’s Times Square for the launch of Kinect for Xbox 360. Andrew Melnizek was there to catch the action, which went from Toys “R” Us sales to an after party at the Hard Rock Cafe.Â
It sounds like Microsoft went all out for this, lining the streets of Times Square with over 600 dancer and playing host to execs like Don Mattrick, Kudo Tsunoda, Aaron Greeberg, Harmonix’s Alex Rigopulos, Toy “R” Us CEO Gerald Storch, and more. Epic’s Cliff Blezinski also showed up, as well as rappers Lady Sovereign and Ne-Yo. This morning, Microsoft’s Greenbergtweetedthat they’d be opening NASDAQ this morning, too.
