Just when we were tired of the PlayStation 3 Slim rumors — the leaks, the retailer hints, the fake ads — Sony goes ahead andannounces the thing at gamescom. We’re thrilled, of course, because that means all of the chatter about a new console can juststopalready.
Not so fast. AnFCC filinguncovered byPS3 Newspoints to yet another model PS3 Slim, the CECH-2000B. What’s the difference? Well, it has a 250GB hard drive; the announced CECH-2000A comes with a 120GB hard drive. The filing’s a bit sneaky, with Sony’s lawyers attempting to hide it under another company’s name. But PS3 News put on its detective hat and rest assured, this is the real deal.
