According to official release, the Xbox LIVE Arcade title’s price has been reduced by 33 percent, bringing it down to 800 Microsoft Banana Dollars. Starting today and rolling through September 21st, Xbox LIVE Gold members can purchase the game for its new promotional price courtesy of Microsoft.
Lode RunnerXBLA, by the way, is a revival of the 1983 platformer. Possessing high-resolution (no way!) visuals and multiplayer options (double- no way!) this release tickled old-school fans and drove new ones nuts with its hardcore 2D puzzles and few allowances for error.
