Activision must be seeing some kind of meaningful return on theirLittle League World Series Baseballfranchise, because they’re continuing to crank out the games. Today, they announcedLittle League World Series Baseball 2010, due out this July. But whereas the past two games in the franchise released on the Wii, an appropriate home for the kid-friendly game, this year’s installment is coming out on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 — and there’s no Wii version in sight.

New features include revamped Season and Career modes, but an Activision spokesman made sure to note that while the now-in-HD game is “visually stunning and packed with tons of new content,” it’s still going to be “an accessible pick-up-and-play game for the whole family.” Japanese developer NOW Production remains the team behind the game, which will launch at a budget price of $39.99.
