What’s this? A trailer for an id Software game that starts off with a quote from the Nathaniel Hawthorne’s short story, “Young Goodman Brown”? Aren’t I supposed to be able to turn off my brain off when firing up an id title?
Sure, the first minute and a half of this latest trailer is pretty convincing in letting us know that yes, there’s more toRagethan just action. But it’s the last minute or so that makes it very clear:Rageis definitely an id shooter, through and through.
That’s a good thing, too, apparently. We sent Steven Hansen out tocheck out the first three hours of the game, and he tells us things are looking good.Rageis out October 4, but I kinda want it right now.
