Seemingly tired of ancient China and Japan, Koei now moves to the epic conflict between England and France forBladestorm: The Hundred Years War. When I first heard about this game, I’d assumed that it wasDynasty Warriorsfor Eurotrash, but this brand new trailer almost leads me to believe we will instead be seeing a spiritual successor to theKessenseries — and that’s not a bad thing, that’s a very, very good thing. If you’ve never played any of theKessengames, I seriously suggest you try them out. The unique action/strategy series has a cult following for a reason. While I’d love a button masher set during The Hundred Years War, I will definitely take a strategy game from Koei, a company that knows how to do a good console RTS.
