Sorry for the scare, folks, but Destructoid is back. We’re not sure what you did without us, but we apologize for the downtime.
To answer some questions, we weren’t “hacked,” “attacked,” or any of those other things you might be thinking. I’ll spare you the details, but just know that we had a small back end issue that had our folks behind the scenes working for hours to resuscitate the site (and all of its content) in order to return it to its previous glory. While the site is functional, there may be a few hiccups (broken images, ants), so please pardon our dust.
The bottom line is that we’re back, and you can expect us to continue our gaming coverage as usual, starting, well… now.
Expect some cool things tomorrow, including how to make your ownHeavy Rainorigami, our first two “Game of the Year” nominees (which eagle-eyed readers may have already spotted earlier today), and all of the regular hijinks you’ve come to expect from us. It feels good to be back!
