Earlier today,Yoot Towerfor iPad finally hit the US App Store. While the $7.99 price might be on the steep side of this market, it seems like a noteworthy enough release to mention here. Besides, the screen dimensions and touch controls are perfect for this type of experience.

As a long-time fan of all things “tycoon,” I’m not really sure how I let bothSimTowerand the earlier PC version ofYoot Towerpass me by. They appear to be interesting spins on the God game genre, but I’m unaware of how they fare in the public eye. Destructoid wasn’t really around in the ’90s, y’know?
