We haven’t posted enough — or at all from the looks of it — about Rocket Bear Games’Infested Planet, so let me remedy that right now. A beta forInfested Planethas gone live for anyone who pre-orders or pre-ordered the game, to give you your fix of tactical RTS fun right now.

I’ve been reading some great things aboutInfested Planet, and from the looks of the trailer it’s still shaping up to be a great and frantic mix of continuously adapting tactics and arcade top-down shooting madness. Rocket Bear’s Alex Vostrov has also been documenting his progresson the community blogsfor almost a year now, which most of us seemingly overlooked. Shame on us.

I suggest you give it a read, as it shows a fascinating journey from the early concept stages to where the game is at now. The game is 25% off for pre-orders through the game’swebsite, and you can get an extra 10% off using the code STARBEAR.
