This is one of those announcements that’s simply too out of left field not to post. Partnering with Universal Pictures, NEVERDIE Studios has made a free, “movie-length” massively multiplayer online game based on the impendingThe Thingprequel.
Hunt The Thingis built using CryEngine 2 and allows you to play as a scientist or a soldier. Yes, there’s even blood samples. In order to try this out, you’ll need to download NEVERDIE’s ROCKtropia Virtual World, which acts as a hub. Might just be worth a look.
