Woah. Deja vu, man. I could’ve sworn that we already told you about aGod of Wardirector leaving Sony to do his own thing. Wait, we did! That wasDavid Jaffe. Now,God of War IIdirector Cory Barlog follows and leaves Sony Computer Entertainment for something bigger and better. But what, exactly?
I wish I could tell you.Level Up’s N’Gai Croalhas been chatting up Barlog in amulti-partinterview, but it looks like we’re one installment away from the big reveal. We do know that Barlog has been working withAustralian film writer and director George Miller, who you might know fromBabe, The Witches of Eastwick, or Happy Feet. Oh, andMad Max. They’re working on something videogame related, but it’s anyone’s guess to what they’ve been doing this whole time.
