OK, so here’s the deal: Raphael Saadiq, former member of the R&B group Toni! Toni! Tone! has his own videogame company, the Denver-based studio Illfonic. Their first project isGhetto Golf, a downloadable titles that mixes together four Gs: games, gangsters, guns, and golf.

MTV Multiplayer’s Stephen Totilo recently got a sneak peek of an early version of the game, which he describes as “Grand Theft AutomeetsTiger Woods PGA.” The developers describeGhetto Golfas “FridaymeetsHappy Gilmore.” We’re not sure which description is more bizarre, but we’re intrigued.
