With how crazy things have always been on the iPod/iPhone front when it comes to games, I can’t say I’ve been looking forward to the iPad all that much. I’m thoroughly expecting a deluge of apps retouched and then marketed as being for the new device.
But this is special because it’sGeometry Wars. The newest iteration of Bizarre Creation’s brilliant shoot-em-up series features all six game modes previously found inGeometry Wars 2: Retro Evolvedon Xbox Live Arcade plus “Titans!,” a new mode exclusive to the iPad.
The game will run you $9.99 in the App Store. If you’re in the App Store and that seems like a lot of money, remember this: You just spent $500 on an oversized iPod. Get some perspective.
