The 2008 Game Developer’s Conference will take place February 18-22 in San Francisco. As you may have heard,Jack Thompson is not invited. New next-door neighbor Nintendoisinvited, and they will be using the opportunity to show off several new titles.
Next-genreports that Nintendo plans to show offWiiFit, WiiWare, and a little game calledSuper Smash Bros. Brawlin various sessions during the conference.
Details on WiiWare will be uncovered by Takashi Aoyama, team leader for Nintendo’s Network Group in his sessionPlanning the Wii Menu: From Pre-Launch to WiiWare. It will be good to finally get some answers about the service. Perhaps we’ll see/hear more ofFinal Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: The Small King And The Promised Landwhile we are there.
Developer Masahiro Sakurai will definitely pack a room when he breaks down his new game inBuilding Characters: The Super Smash Bros. Brawl Postmortem. I think I can hearCTZpacking right now.
