I’ll be the first to admit that Nintendo’sRock N’ Roll Climberis not what I had expected. I suppose it would have been a bit much to expect that I’d be playing a groupie game featuring my favoriteRock of Lovecast members.

Sure, a game about rock climbing makes a bit more sense. When Bill Trinen of Nintendo’s Treehouse localization group took the stage at Satoru Iwata and started playingRock N’ Roll Climber, I wasn’tthatsurprised. A game that uses the Wii Balance Board in conjunction with the Wii Remote and nunchuck to make an on-screen character scale a wall of rocks? Sure, I’ll buy that.

But it’s what happens when you finally reach the top that has me… scratching my head. Check out Trinen’s demo of the game from the keynote (after the jump), and if you may figure out what the f**k is going on, let me know.
