We’re having a hard time following this because the primary source materialinexplicablydisappeared, but apparently Insomniacgave GameSpotthe lowdown on some hot downloadable content forResistance 2recently at GDC. According toJoystiq, the content, coming March 26, will take the form of a patch and a purchasable map pack and character skins.
The patch, version 1.50 if you’re counting, will add a new, harder cooperative difficulty and the multiplayer mode ‘Meltdown.’ It will also add the ability for a second player to use their PSN ID and partake inR2’sonline multiplayer.
The patch details are juicy, but I really wish I could watch GameSpot’s coverage to hammer out the details on the extra skins. The only reason I dropped the game is because I thought my character looked like a retard.
