These latest screens forGod of War III— released as part of Sony’s media blast forgamescom— aren’t as bloody as we might have expected. But this isn’t upsetting.
In fact, they’re relatively tame compared to some of the decapitation and entrail-removal we’ve seen. But it’s hard to argue that screens featuring Kratos firing a flaming bow and arrow at some sort of knife-wielding hell beast aren’t totally bad ass. Because, just… wow? Yeah.
It kind of makesDante’s Inferno— which looks pretty damned good in its own right — seem like the game we’ll just be playing to kill time beforeGod of War IIIcomes out. Which is in March. We know this because we’re counting the days.
