Conrad:I re-opened the door onFallout 3and am steadily progressing on a second playthrough. I picked upBomberman Act Zerobecause it was $6 and I wanted to prove to myself that it wasn’t worth that much. I was not disappointed.

I also grabbedPersona 4and have just started out. I think this is going to be the game that determines whether or not I buy another J-RPG ever. If I can’t finish this one, after all of the positive things I’ve heard, I think I’m just going to give up on the genre altogether.

Jim:This week was mostly spent fulfilling some self-imposed review duties, as I played throughDestroy All Humans: Path of the Furonand am still battling my way throughRise of the Argonauts. The former already has a review published and the latter I am embargo-bound to remain silent on. Check back to Dtoid on December 16 when the review goes up! Trust me, if you are at all interested in the title, you’llwantto read this.

Otherwise, myGears of War 2disc returned from England and I see that the online mode has devolved into a wasteland of quitting host griefers and lobby delays that the patch seems to have madeworse. The experience is not as I once knew it to be. I am going to have to really get onto Xbox Live at times when Dtoid community members are playing. Also, got to indulge in someTales of Vesperia. I declare it … alright.

Colette:It’s been allPersona 4since the day it came out. While there is a lot more to do (almost overwhelmingly so), the main issue I had withPersona 3does not seem to be changed, that being that I find that it takes multiple trips to complete a dungeon kind of annoying. Of course, the game has so much else going for it that I’m not going to let it get in the way … but I do wish I could program those dungeon grinds to autoplay themselves sometimes.

Dale:Star Oceanwas re-released on the PSP. This has aged well.

Justin:Since Tron and Topher have been talking aboutJumping Flash!quite a bit in the e-mailer this week, and I had some spare cash in my PSN wallet, I figured I’d give it a download. I’d never heard of this game before, and I certainly wasen’t expecting it to turn out to be a quirky first-person shooter platformer where you control a robot frog that can hop really high, but it is, and it’s fun, so wheeeeeeeeee!

And due to craving someBreath of Fire, I started replaying the fourth entry in the series. I’d forgotten how nice it looked for a PSX game. I’d also forgotten how annoying the camera is to deal with.

Chad:45 hours in, and still LOVINGFallout 3.

I have a question, though? Without ruining anything, I am in the child town of Little Lamplight and headed towards Vault 82 through Murder Pass. Am I getting near the end of the story part of the game? I keep getting distracted with random exploration that I havenoidea how far into the game I am.

Any vague info would be much appreciated.

Samit:Aside from the usual doses ofRock Band 2andNHL 09— my personal games of the year — I tooled around in PlayStation Home for an hour or two and decided that I probably won’t ever go back to it. I also tried out the co-op inThe Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, and while I don’t want to give away the upcoming review, I’ll just say that the co-op is … fun.

DMV:Now that I’m home and with friends, it’s more about co-op and versus games. So far, that meansStreet Fighter II Turbo HD RemixandDynasty Warriors Gundam.

ULTRA…

This week I was lucky enough to findCastle of Shikigami 3andSpace Invaders Extremeat a local Gamestop. Both cost $20, both are shmups, and both have been discontinued. So yeah, I was pretty psyched about that.

Also got intoPersona 4. So far, it’s a hell of a lot more involving thanPersona 3, but I’m still not sure if I’ll ever finish it. Sometimes I actually wish I’d get my legs broken or something so I’d be forced to stay in one place for long enough to sit through these massive JRPGs the country keeps pumping out.

Black Ops 6 Season 5 Multiplayer Ransack Mode

Also played a few hours ofAnimal Crossing: City Folk, sent some annoying Wii Speak voice messages to a few Dtoid community members, and gotGuitar Hero: World Tourfor my birthday (which is today).

So don’t just sit there! CELEBRATE ME!

Nick:I can’t believe you letGuitar Hero: World Tourinto your home …
