Man, there’s just something aboutFruit Ninja. Even the most jaded, weathered, hard core gamer can still find some time for this casual delight.Everyoneloves this chart-topping Halfbrick mobile title! You’re a cranky piece of sh*t if you don’t likeFruit Ninja. There. I said it.
China is going to get a taste soon. Halfbrick has partnered with Chinese company iDreamSky to bring their games to China. With this deal the Halfbrick games will use the company’s Skynet social network and microtransations system.
Another less glamorous part of this deal is to clean up the bootleg action that China is so famous for. The smartphone market is packed with unofficial pirated and clone versions of games likeFruit Ninja. They’re hoping that this move will help legitimize the mobile market.
Nice goal, but I’d love to see some of the knockoffs.
