Gears of War 3‘s Jace Stratton — who first reared his head in a series ofGearscomic books — now has a voice. It’s actor Michael B. Jordan, maybe best known for his role as Vince Howard on the television seriesFriday Night Lights, and his more recent work onParenthood.
Jordan’s part was revealed on the latest episode ofGameTrailers TV, where (spoiler alert!) you’ll see him shout things like “I’m down!” and “Medic!”. He tells GTTV’s Amanda MacKay that he’s a big gamer, and even went the extra mile to do his research for the role… by reading the entire Wikipedia breakdown on theGears of Warfranchise.
Gears of War 3is out September 20, and one of these days I’m going to log in and play the beta.
