Our first look atAssassin’s Creed: Bloodlinesfor the PSP has finally arrived.Bloodlinespicks up right after the events from the firstAssassin’s Creed. You will be playing as Altair again as he hunts down the remaining Templars who fled from the Holy Land to the island of Cyprus after the death of Robert De Sable.
Bloodlineswill contain eight new missions and the same feeling of exploration will be in the game as well, including being able to climb like a monkey on every surface.Bloodlineswill also bridge the gap betweenAssassin’s CreedandAssassin’s Creed 2. It will explain how Ezio, the hero of2, is born and where the Codex comes from.
There’s also some connectivity features for the PS3 version ofAC 2andBloodlines. When you unlock health and hidden blade upgrades in theAC 2, those upgrades will appear inBloodlinesand vice-versa too. You’ll be able to gain access to any Templar Coins and special weapons you’ve collected on the PSP version over on the PS3 version as well.
Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlineswill be out during the holiday season this year. In the mean time, check out the world premier trailer after the break.
