TheFinal Fantasyport train keeps a-rollin’!

Square Enix has good news for PS3 and Wii owners who, for some ludicrous reason, have yet to playFinal Fantasy VI. First up, the FMV-loaded PlayStation update will bearrivingon Japan’s Game Archives this Wednesday. Given the ease with which one can create a Japanese PSN account, international folk who want a piece of this action shouldn’t be discouraged.

Of course, if you want your game in English, head on over to the Virtual Console. Both Japan and PAL territories have already gotten theirFFVIon, and now it’s time for US fans to get a littlesomethin’ somethin’. Naturally, this will be theFinal Fantasy III-labeled version as it appeared on the SNES, but I doubt nostalgia buffs will be splitting hairs over that. There’s no announced date, but we shouldn’t have to wait too long.
