Marvel and Zen Studios have announced the “Fantastic Four” pinball table for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
For the Xbox 360 the table will come as an add-on for one of my favorite games of 2010 (and well into 2011),Pinball FX 2. PS3 owners can add the Fantastic Four to their version ofMarvel Pinball. The table is scheduled to be available “soon,” just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the popular superhero crew.
I’m not sure how much I can (or should) say about the table, but I had a chance to spend about an hour with it last night. It’s as polished and fun as the other Marvel tables, although it’s hard to say right now if I’d rank it up there with my personal favorites, Spider-Man and Wolverine. (The Iron Man table can die in a fire, which is why Tony Stark “has more than one suit.”) Regardless, pinball and Marvel fans should be in for a real treat.
