Sure, a lot of us are salivating overFallout 3, whether we were previous fans of the series or just seeing it for the first time. Longtime fans know that the wait betweenFallout 2andFallout 3was not easy to bear … no fan should have to wait eight years inbetween installments of their favorite series (if I had to wait that for a Silent Hill, I’d be on the verge of suicide.)

Luckily, it sounds as if that will not be the case when it comes toFallout 4. In a recent conversation with Reuters, Todd Howard, exec producer at Bethesda, commentedthat while the chunk of time inbetween 2 and 3 was certainly too long, it lent to the nostalgia factor. However, when question about the future ofFallout 4, Howard said “three years is a good time frame between games.”

I’d agree there, Todd. I’m glad to hear it though — with the wayFallout 3is looking, I’ll be salivating for a sequel instantly after finishing it.
