Several people (including our very own Nick Chester) braved the cold, rain, and football-sized hail last evening to get copies ofFallout 3from a Best Buy in Rockville, Maryland. Of course, it wasn’t just for the game – it was also to hang out with the folks from Bethesda Softworks, the developer ofFallout 3. Rockville is the hometown of Bethesda, and thus given the honors that you see in the pictures above.

As Nickmentioned previously, a good bit of swag was tossed around and people lined up from several states over to attend the event. In the end, it’s all about the game. And we hope that everyone present was able to get a copy.

The gallery is a nice compilation of shots taken by the folks of Bethesda. It features the first guy to get hold of the game at Best Buy, the infamous Airstream camper, and some shots of the swag signing in action. Wouldn’t it be nice if every release was like this?
