You have to love game company community forums. When their users get pissed, yousoonknow about it. I’ve not playedFable 2yet (it’s not out in the UK until Friday) but over onthe Lionhead forums, people are currently bouncing their angry ballbags over the co-op in Peter Molyneux’s latest opus, claiming it to be buggy and maligned by a poor camera, as well as forcing players to become mere “henchmen” instead of their own heroes.
It seems that a fair fewFable 2players are highly disappointed by the multiplayer option, labeling it “watered down crap” and complaining that you cannot be your own character. It all sounds like a big let-down, which is a shame considering multiplayer was a huge selling point for me.
Of course, a member of the game’s dev team did little to soothe angry hearts. Clearly not wanting to smoke a peace pipe or make amends, team member “Woody” decided to respond with the question: “Handbag, anyone?” He of course offered a premium selection of handbags (pictured above) for the angry gamers to choose from.
Yeah … that didn’t go down too well. If you’d like to watch to rest of the train wreck, by all means grab some popcorn and beware — some panties are getting wound so tightly over there that they might snap off and hit you in the eye!
