It would appear that theF.E.A.R 3‘s co-op mode is a little more competitive than you might think. This new trailer details how the Pointman and Paxton Fettel will be able to attain scores and outdo each other.
Things like this make me wonder just how much this game intends to stick to its original sense of atmosphere and horror. A competitive co-op mode doesn’t strike me as particularly scary. It’s going to have to be really good to make up for the inevitable atmospheric trade-off, as the creepiness wasF.E.A.R‘s biggest selling point.
