Ten years. Kind of a long time, isn’t it? Enough for entire generations of videogames to come and go. Even still, Electronic Arts CFO Eric Brown was quoted at the UBS Annual Media and Communications Conference in New York as sayingStar Wars: The Old Republicwill be around for that long. Or, that’s the plan, anyway.
I’m glad someone has faith in the project. While ten years might be overselling it, I suppose as far as non-World of WarcraftMMOs go,The Old Republichas a relatively good chance to stick it out for the long haul. What say you, people who play these sorts of games? Any insight?
