Ubisoft’s E3 press conference kicked off with Q Entertainment’s Tetsuya Mizuguchi wearing a swanky pair of white gloves while he worked it on stage with his new Kinect-centric game,Child of Eden. Basically, it wasamazing. Hopefully we’ll get some direct-feed footage of it soon, but until then, enjoy the super blurry attached screenshots.
Child of Eden, as you may expect, is a lot likeRez. It’s also the first Kinect game to really have me interested — and believing — in the device’s potential. UnlikeRez, you, directly, are the driving force in the game. You’re still shooting insane shapes and objects, only this time you’re using actual motions to do so.
I didn’t know what was happening during 95 percent of the presentation. Even still, I absolutely loved every last minute of it.
