When I saw the 3DS announcement at this morning’s Nintendo E3 conference, the first thing I immediately thought was, “Man, thePaper Marioseries would sure work good on the 3DS!” Apparently, Nintendo was thinking the exact same thing, because they’ve quietly announced that a newPaper Mariogame will be coming to the 3DS among a smorgasbord of other first-party titles. The first screenshots really just show how beautiful this is going to be, and they’ve captured thePaper Mariostyle perfectly.
So far, we don’t have any other info besides that, but really, that’s all I need to get excited about the 3DS. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go make sure Chad hasn’t passed out due to the excitement …
