So I remember the days of the SNESDonkey Kong Country, and from what I can tell, Nintendo’s latest installment,Donkey Kong Country Returnssimply reeks of nostalgia. Yeah, you smell that nostalgia? Good. Enjoy it.
The game is full of the mechanics we’ve come to know and love, and the art style, while being fresh and impressive, still brings me back to the old days.Returnsis full of banana collecting, riding in mine carts, Diddy abusing DK, and of course, swinging from rope to rope all over the place.
