Dynasty Warriors 7aims to blend its cutscenes and gameplay together, and I like how it’s done. As you’re able to see in the video, Sima Shi gets shot in the eye, yanks the arrow out, and tosses it to the ground, all while the camera pans behind him, ready for you to take over immediately after. These seamless shifts are said to be littered throughout the game, and while it’s only a small stylistic gimmick, it makes everything look a lot cooler.
Looking cool is what the game is all about anyway, so I highly approve.
