Sh*t On Denis Dyack Day continues with our third story on the lovable loudmouth. This time, Denis dredges up the ongoing legal battle between Epic Games and Silicon Knights.Claimingthat Epic defrauded a large portion of the games industry, the too talkativeToo Humancreator lays the blame for his game’s delay squarely at the feet of the Unreal Engine masterminds.

“[Too Humanhas] been a four-year development cycle and it would have been out even quicker, but we had to re-write the engine because of all the Epic stuff,” claims Dyack. “The trial is proceeding; we feel really good about our claims, and we’re hopeful that justice will be done. We all feel really strongly that they have defrauded us, and a major portion of the industry.”

Nasty accusations indeed. Of course, none of us really knows what went on with Epic and SK, but so far I’m yet to see anybody else blaming their problems on the Unreal Engine or its creators. We’ll find out how well SK did without Epic however, sinceToo Humanis out soon, and we’ll have the review up as quickly as possible. For some reason nobody wants to send me a copy … I’ve gotnoidea why that could be.
