Well, thisscrews up my head. When I was young and used to sneak off to the arcade to look at games and bum quarters, I remember staring in awe atDragon’s Laircabinets, and I remember reading that state-of-the-art Laserdisc technology is what made this game possible. It was light years ahead of anything we’d ever have at home.

And now it’s running on a phone.

Don Bluth’s classic game is up on the iTunes App Store for only $4.99. And again, that just blows my mind. I wanted to be that radical douchebag with the spiky hair and the tight-rolled jeans and a Dragon’s Lair arcade cabinet in my house. Now the game is on my phone. It costs less than a few plays of the arcade cabinet.

This iPhone version is maybe even more intuitive. You just tap the screen. That’s it.
