There’s a “remake” ofDouble Dragon IIcoming to Xbox Live Arcade this year, courtesy of the Korean studio, Barunsun Interactive. It’s being calledDouble Dragon: Wander of the Dragon, because the sequels original title,The Revenge, is so 80s. Now, before I tell you anything else about this, go ahead and watch the trailer.

Barunsun has ditched the 2D sprite visuals, instead opting to completely re-imagine the game from the ground up with 3D character models and a new fighting system. It’s also decided to re-design all of the game’s characters, including its iconic enemies.
So what’s the same? Well, the game appears to follow the story of the arcade version of the sequel, which finds love interest Marian getting gunned-down by thugs before the game even begins. The 1200 MS PointWander of the Dragonadds a four-player versus mode to the mix, a Survival mode, and co-op support.
